CPOS provides high quality oligonucleotides ordering service via our DNA synthesis partner Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), a US-based leading supplier of custom oligonucleotides and a developer of innovative new biotechnologies.
We primarily work with IDT’s Asia Pacific Division in Singapore, which is equipped with their own manufacturing facility to synthesize high quality oligos and allows for more efficient regional customer service and technical support.

Most IDT products can be ordered via the IDT-CPOS Genomics Core portal except the followings: Expedite products, e.g. SameDay Oligo, Transductin, Nuclease-free Buffers and Reagents, e.g. IDTE, Nuclease Decontamination Solution, Nuclease-free Water (DEPC-Free), Duplex Buffer (30 mM Hepes, pH 7.5, 100 mM Potassium Acetate), miRCat, and other non oligo merchandises, e.g. T-Shirts.

Ordering and Shipment
Ordering
All orders MUST be placed via the IDT-CPOS Genomics Core portal by logging in with your user account.
If you are new to our service, please refer to Account Registration section for instructions.
Orders can be placed anytime and are approved by CPOS on working days at 10:30am daily. Users are encouraged to place orders well ahead of our cut-off time to avoid delay.
Check your order carefully before submission.
No change can be made once order has been approved.
Shipment Schedule
There are DAILY shipments from IDT Singapore to CPOS Monday to Friday.
Below is the current schedule for 25 nmole unmodified, desalted DNA oligos with sequence length between 15-40 bases:

*Terms and Conditions:
- The above schedule is limited to 25 nmole unmodified, desalted DNA oligos (15-40 bases).
- Actual delivery time depends on the complexity of your order. Unexpected delay might be due to sporadic QC failure or custom clearance.
- Products other than standard desalted DNA oligos of 15-40 bases may take additional 1 to 10 days for delivery, depending on the complexity.
- Not applicable for orders placed on HKU, Hong Kong and Singapore holidays.

CPOS will process account request as soon as application form AND online registration are completed.
DO NOT order via the web portal until then as it will NOT be processed.
Registration Instructions
Time required: 10 minutes
- Complete the User Registration Form and return the signed form via email (scanned file or photo) to oligo.cpos@hku.hk / fax (2818-5653) / by internal mail / in person
- Go to: https://sg.idtdna.com/CPOS-Genomics-Core. Please make sure our CPOS Genomics Core logo appear on the top of the page and choose Singapore as the country before starting registration
- Click on the Setup a New Account button and fill in all the required information
- Receive account registration confirmation email with email subject “Account on IDT-CPOS Genomics Core portal ready to use”
- Your account is ready! Login to the IDT-CPOS Genomics Core portal using your login name and password to place an order
