- Office hours with staff on duty: Mon to Fri 09:00 – 17:30
- Non-office hours without staff on duty: Mon to Fri 17:30 – 09:00 (next morning); Sat, Sun & Public Holidays
- Duration of each session: 30 minutes
- Minimum booking: one session. (Minimum booking for Roche LightCycler480 II Real-time PCR: 3 sessions.)
- Charges will apply based on time reserved and/or time used, whichever is longer. No booking of partial session is allowed.
- Same charges will apply for no-show, failure to cancel booking or late-arrival.
- For overrun of experiment beyond the booking time, please inform the responsible Technical staff during office hours. Overrun will only be allowed if there is no overlapped booking. Same charges will apply.
- Technical support is NOT included.
- Non-HKU users will be charged at a 200% of Original Price plus 20% administration fee of the total charge.
- Commercial users will be charged at a 250% of Original Price plus 20% administration fee of the total charge.
Technical Support Service
- $200/hour (for Faculty of Medicine members)
- $400/hour (for other non-Faculty of Medicine HKU members)
- $800/hour plus 20% administration fee of the total charge (for members of other academic institutions)
- $1000/hour plus 20% administration fee of the total charge (for non-academic organizations)
